fablog is planning a new distribution center for Meatland Logistics and Distributions. Meatland - who is one of the leading meat importers - extends its businesses in the Russian capital. Therefore a new cooling and deep freeze warehouse needs to be established.

fablog starts with the development of different solution approaches - e.g. different storing concepts and picking strategies but also racking systems and logistics equipments will be considered. Finally an evaluation concerning technical, functional and monetary aspects will follow.

The best practice variant will be recommended to Meatland and further on developed in detail. The implementation and ramp up of the deep freeze distribution centre is planned for the end of 2007.
